Tree care

Tree conservation is important to us. At TouchWood Treecare we will, where possible, endeavour to protect and preserve our native tree stock. Tree health can be improved by the use of various techniques, Soil Aeration, Mulching, Tip Reduction, Pollarding, Retrenchment, etc. 

Tree planting

TouchWood Treecare has an extensive range of contacts within the Horticultural Sector who supply us with top quality, Irish grown  trees and hedging of all sizes, from saplings to mature specimens. We also offer a remove and replant service for overgrown hedging, often replacing unsuitable conifers with more manageable and visually pleasing alternatives.

Tree removal

We can safely cut, lower and remove any tree in virtually any location. From small back garden to a busy roadside - full insurance, traffic management solutions and healthy working relationships with utilities providers allow TouchWood Treecare to organise any job from start to finish.

Fire wood

Locally (and we mean it, our timber doesn't travel more than 50km) sourced and processed hardwood and softwood makes the cleanest fuel you can get for your home. We season, then process and air dry logs to approx. 20%mc before sale. We offer firewood to suit any budget - from mixed loose loads to ton bags and net bags alike.

Log splitting

TouchWood Treecare provide a mobile Log splitting and Firewood processing service. We can cater for any type of wood in any quantity, from forestry thinnings to large windblown trees and everything in between.
